Karen Ritson was a CQC inspector for 15 years and was also a regular member of the panels which award Outstanding ratings for services. She played a key role in developing the Key Lines of Enquiry which are used as a guide for inspections and to decide on a rating. Supporting services to deliver genuine person-centred care is so important to Karen as she has seen at first-hand what an amazing positive difference it can make to people’s lives when we get care right.
